Natural Solutions For Pain
Through Movement and Essential Oils

If you live with pain, you probably have been looking for solutions on Google and Youtube. You probably have seen multiple chiropractors, doctors, PTs, massage therapists... There is so much conflicting information out there on what to do... Some is good and some is bad.
You probably asked your doctor what you can do about that nagging ache and the answer is usually to take pills and rest.
Well, guess what? There is something else you can do and it's pretty simple.
I have recently discovered how effective it is to combine essential oils with physical therapy.
This is how it happened… Early last spring I was really into hot yoga and overstretched my lower back. I would have been fine, however, I was also very busy at work and wasn’t paying attention to my own mechanics while I was adjusting my patients… and I pulled my back. Yup! Me! The Back Pain Expert tweaked her back!
I felt sharp pain every time I moved and I knew that I was heading for the raging bout of sciatica. Bending forward was out of the question. And I had to sit down every time I put my pants on. Now I learned firsthand what my patients were going through.
Well, after the initial shock I decided to use it as an opportunity to see if the oils lived up to all the hype. Every day I would massage essential oils on my tired achy back muscles and get on the reformer to take myself through a series of exercises, just like what I do with my patients. I also did about 5 minutes of floor exercises 3 times a day.
I wanted pain gone ASAP because my job is very physical and I needed to be 100% to be able to do what I do. Well, guess what? My routine worked, the pain subsided and was gone in about 3 weeks. The oils have sped up my recovery! It would have taken twice as long without the oils.
Since then, I’ve been using essential oils daily in my practice and was amazed with the results. Not only do they smell terrific, they decrease pain and inflammation, improve circulation and therefore, speed up the healing process. What can I say? I love using them.
My dear friend, Laura Elbert, the owner of Whollistic You Wellness, a wellness coach and an essential oil expert agreed to help me teach this workshop. This Saturday, September 10th from 10:30 to 12:30 we are going to show you how to use essential oils in combination with simple movements to get yourself out of pain.
We will start with an educational session about oils and their effect on the body. You will be able to sample them to see what you like and don’t like. Then I will take you through a 45 minute movement class. In this class you will learn simple exercises and stretches that you can do at home to improve your mobility and to strengthen your core. I will teach you the exercises that helped me get out of pain.
These are the same exercises I have taught for over a decade and I know they work. We will have a Q & A session following the class so that you can ask us about your specific problem and together we can come up with a solution! How does this sound?
